So you want to be a Prick ??
Here are some of the techniques used by some of the best meds at the Penguin ...
The Standing Prick
Almost always employed by beginners, this maneuver requires the Medic to be standing directly over the body while standing and pricking the needle directly downward. It takes a lot of practice to master this one.
The Crouching Prick
Most Medics have figured this one out. This time the Medic crouches over the body and pricks the needle.
The Run and Prick
This a combination of running towards the body and the Crouching Prick.
The Prick and Go
Usually done when in a real hurry (like under enemy fire), this maneuver is an extension of the Run and Prick, but the Medic never actually stops over the body when crouching and then runs away at great speed. This is a difficult maneuver to master and takes great skill to do this multiple times in a row.
The Medi-Prick
Combination Prick and Medi-Paks
The Jumping Prick
Need I say more ??
The Flying Prick
I have actually done this one. It is done when jumping off something and pricking the body while flying through mid air. Needless to say I did it only once.
The Rotating Prick
Similar to a crouching prick, except the Medic moves around the body in a circle while pricking. This is usually done when trying to position the recovery away from you so that you can get on with business. Medi-Paks usually follow this maneuver.
The Spinning Prick
This is done when a body is near a train or some other area that will trap him. You crouch beside the body while being as close to the train or whatever as possible ... then you move towards the body, prick it, and spin around in a circle in a direction that spins away from the train or whatever. The body will be revived and in most cases will be pushed out by the spin. This is a very effective maneuver once mastered.
The Big Prick
Definitely the Glory Prick of them all. Against all odds, going out and reviving a body laying in a pool of enemy soldiers knowing it will bring certain death. This is one of my favorites :)
The Medi-Chase
Usually done when wounded friendlies are running around screaming for Medics and ammo. This involves Medi-paks - figure it out. I do this too often ...
The Turn and Drop
Usually done after reviving a body. This maneuver is used for wounded friendlies following you. It involves turning around and running backwards dropping Medi-paks and then turning back around again.
The Swap
Medic ... Lieutenant ... Medi-paks and ammo ... need I say more ??
The Slap
Medic ... Lieutenant ... Medi-paks ... no ammo ... need I say more ??
The Medi-Surprise
Involving the element of surprise, the Medic rushes up behind a friendly and gives him Medi-paks.
Now ... Are you ready to be a Prick ??
Medic's Code of Honor (according to FeArLeSs JaCk)
I will never take a Medi-pak before giving one to another friendly
I will not leave a wounded friendly until he or she is fully healed or healed as much as possible
I will revive a friendly even if it means respawning
I will help other Medics in reviving and providing Medi-paks to others
I will drink Beer and other such beverages on a regular basis
I will not take this too seriously - it's just a game
I will perform the Big Prick as much as possible
