Is anyone using Teamspeak 3 yet?

Will it work on our server?

Is it worth looking into?

Bueller?

I don't think it's out for more than alpha testing atm.

I'm testing TS3.
I must say it's sounds very clear, far more clear than TS2.
One annoying thing I had to change instantly: the notifications. (because this was on a server of TS itself, and hunderds of people were entering and leaving + default it has more notifications for other actions enabled)
Others nice features: change name while staying connected, file transfers (but not yet enabled i guess), change volume on the Sound Packs (notifications),
make compliants on users, set avatar (tried but didn't work yet), log all chats, URL types in chat are collected, ...

Looks good so far

Nothing's going on. Cryo has checked it out on his own PC but we've yet to hear from Jack or Stinky as to whether it will be loaded on to the HP servers. I imagine they've been a little busy over the xmas/new year period.

does it come with a creep-alarm?

and what about a "you're-too-drunk-and-starting-to-get-unintelligible" alarm?

I hope this is being taken seriously. Let's face it... TeamSpeak is our only server that sees any activity.

We are currently testing Teamspeak 3 to see how simple a switch it would be. This a completely revamped application, so it is not simply an upgrade of Teamspeak 2. We would be starting from scratch as far assigning permissions and access rights to each user.

It is also still in Beta testing, so we may want to wait until a more stable version is released. That being said, it certainly appears as if there are alot of nice features and added flexibility to TS 3. We will keep you informed as the testing continues.

I've tested it too over last weekend and I gotta say it seems - and sounds - pretty neat.

I really enjoy the TS Overlay software we can use with TS2, and hopefully someone will develop it as well for TS3.

At first I had trouble finding out how to set TS3 the same way I use TS2, but it wasnt hard after all. Hotkey assignment is a bit different but works pretty well (in case you don't wanna share your sneezes, coffs or snoring... assign a hotkey to TOGGLE microphone - may seem obvious but there are many options that would make sense.. ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE microphone and so on)

What is the status of this implementation? It looks like they are up to beta20.
