Application Tutorial How To: Join the Happy Penguin Community

This guide will show you what you need know and do in order to register yourself with the happy penguin family for the happy penguin servers that you play on.

Things to note before we begin:
* The email address that you register with is permanent. The only way your account email address can be changed is with the assistance of a member of the illuminati board of HP.
* You can only be listed on a single server (player list) at a time, but your HP registration is valid for all HP servers.
* You can change which server you want your player listed under at at any time as seen in step 7.
* Make sure to remember your email address and password.
* This is the first step on the road toward obtaining your official HP tags!
* You will see this person is registering for the cod 4 crossfire server. The final images will be a little different for different servers. The pages are setup to reflect the team names, favorite weapon, and so on for the game that it is running.

The user login page: http://www.happy-penguin.com/asp/user.aspx
Your personal email client or web email needed for receiving the HP registration email.

Lets Begin!
The steps listed directly correspond with the images below. ie: step 4 is for step 4 image shown below.

Step 1: Choose HP player list that you play on the most
Go to http://www.happy-penguin.com
Click in the player list the server that you play on the most.

Step 2: Click the link to create your player page
Click the Create/Modify link at the top of the list of players.

Step 3: Click the register button to start your registration
Click Register

Step 4: Enter your email and player information
Enter your email account, a password for accessing your player page, and the main name by which you play under.

Step 5: Go to your email and wait for your activation email
In some time you will receive an email from happy-penguin.com to complete your registration.
* This email is auto generated, you should receive it shortly.
* Some email clients consider this to be spam, so keep an eye out for it.

Step 6: Login to your new player page
Go to http://www.happy-penguin.com/asp/user.aspx
* This is the same place you clicked the register in step 3.
* You may want to bookmark this page for easier access to your player page.

Step 7: Make the final edits on your new player page
The player page will be default when created. Fill in the sections with your info and choose the server you play on the most.
* If you play on more than one HP server it is good idea to choose the one you play on the most.
This will make it easier for you in the future if you wish to apply for official HP tags.

Congratulations you have registered your player with Happy Penguin!

From your player page you can now apply for official HP tags (optional)
